Open cooperation

Laboratory based on China's seaweed bio industry application technology forefront, facing the world, take the road of international cooperation and innovation. In the way of cooperation, including the establishment of a joint laboratory, the joint development of R & D project; in personnel training, joint training of graduate students, including the exchange of visiting researchers, the establishment of training bases; in academic communication, domestic and international academic exchange conference held regularly, to encourage researchers to participate in international academic conferences; at the same time, the laboratory is open to the public, to support domestic seaweed industry.

Construction of "four in one" innovation and entrepreneurship system. The State Key Laboratory of integrated technology, built China's first national seaweed industry and innovation platform: including the national enterprise technology center, National Engineering Research Center, National 863 program achievement industrialization demonstration base, National Marine Science Research Center demonstration base, seaweed industry incubator and high level of innovation, business platform, including the formation of basic research, technology development, engineering, industrial incubator four integrated innovation system. At the same time, set up post doctoral research workstations, provincial academician workstations and other series of personnel support platform, bringing together industry talent.

Innovation and entrepreneurship system

Cooperation between universities and institutes at home and abroad. The laboratory has established long-term, stable and close cooperation and exchange relations with famous research institutions at home and abroad. Jointly set up successively and IOCAS, Dalian Industrial University, China University of Petroleum, Chinese Fisheries Science Research Institute of the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Shandong University, Ocean University of China, Huazhong Agricultural University, Shandong Agricultural University, Jiaxing University, national glycoengineering Research Center, National Engineering Research Center for Apple: Seaweed bio active substances, the development and application of compost product development, seaweed active agent physical and functional biological agents, products of apple industry system and development and application of Bacillus thuringiensis, series of microbial agents, marine biomedical materials, marine functional food and other 8 Joint Laboratory (Figure 3), a total of more than 20 signed a cooperation agreement.

Industry university research cooperation network

Cooperation with enterprises. Study on the application of enzyme preparation in the laboratory and production of algae by Novozymes, enzymatic degradation of algae, algae retention natural active substances; to research and Arrow, Shuanghui enterprise jointly, established product development in the application of food additives in the field.

Personnel training. Personnel training cooperation in joint training of graduate students, including the exchange of visiting researchers, the establishment of training bases. Every year there are plans to send researchers to go abroad for further studies and training, annual training of 10 people; and the partners exchange visiting researchers, an average of 5 people; and Ocean University of China, China University of Petroleum, Qingdao Agricultural University, Qingdao University of Science & Technology, IOCAS signed practice base agreement, received more than 700 graduate students, college students to laboratory practice.

The development of academic exchange activities. The laboratory has held a conference to actively participate in International Seaweed Industry at home and abroad such as academic seminar, exchange of learning with the United States, Britain and France, Australia, Canada and other countries in scientific research personnel, and invite domestic and foreign well-known experts and scholars to give lectures to the laboratory.

Based on the laboratory units joined the World Association of seaweed processors (MARINALG), Chinese baking sugar products association, Chinese Fermentation Industry Association, Institute of Oceanology and Limnology, Chinese China marine institute, Chinese algae Industry Association, Chinese industrial textiles industry association, Chinese Dairy Industry Association, China food additives and Ingredients Association, association of pharmaceutical biotechnology, China Shandong marine functional food alliance, Shandong Province Blue Economic Zone marine industry alliance, Shandong Fisheries Association, Qingdao Institute of microalgae industry at home and abroad for more than 30 social groups, and establish a stable cooperation relationship.
